THE MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS 

To whom it may concern. 

The Norwegian Government has decided that Norwegian children born out of wedlock of Norwegian mother and German father, and sent to Germany during the German occupation, are now to be taken home to Norway. 

According to this the Ministry of Social Affairs requires the following child to be sent home:

a.       The child will be handed over to the mother.

b.      The child will temporarily be taken care of by the Norwegian Red Cross and later on be placed in a good Norwegian family for adoption.
